Lucht Passport Support

Something not working, or an idea for your passport? We read every email.

Email support@luchtlab.com. It helps to tell us your iPhone (for example iPhone 16 or iPhone Duo), your iOS version and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot is even better.

Which devices does Passport run on?

iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Turn your iPhone on its side and the passport opens out into a two-page spread. On iPhone Duo, unfolding the phone opens the book.

How do I stamp an arrival?

Tap + to stamp the country you are in today, using your location to find the airport or port you arrived at, or pick the country and port yourself. When you arrive somewhere new, your departure from the country before is stamped beside its arrival. Double-tap any stamp to see it, change it or remove it. Settings › Tips & Help has more.

Can I add trips from the past?

Yes, with Pro. Backdate an arrival when you stamp it, or bring in your whole history at once from another country tracker (below).

How do I bring in my history from another app?

Export a day-by-day log as a CSV file from the other app: a date and a country on each row. Then, in Passport, go to Settings › Records › Import from another app and choose the file. Your passport is stamped once as you arrive in each country and once as you leave it, not once for every day. If you import again, Passport offers to replace the stamps from your earlier import, and leaves the stamps you made in the app as they are.

Does my passport move to my other iPhones?

Yes, if you are signed in to iCloud. Your stamps, upcoming trips, details and cover are kept in your own iCloud and stay the same on every iPhone signed in to it. You can also keep a backup file of your whole passport: Settings › iCloud & Backup › Back up to a file. Restoring one adds its stamps to what is already there.

Why does Passport ask for my location?

While you use the app, to find the country you are in and the nearest airport, so you don't have to type them. With Pro you can also turn on Settings › Stamp arrivals automatically, which asks for Always access: your iPhone then notices when you land in a new country and stamps it for you, checking only when you have moved a long way. Your location stays on your iPhone and is kept only as part of the stamp it makes. Saying no still lets you stamp by hand. See the privacy policy.

How do the days in each country add up?

The Tracker works out where you were on every day from your arrivals and departures. A day you cross a border counts for both countries. With Pro, export the days as a PDF travel record or a spreadsheet for any period, tax years included, from the Days by Country page or Settings › Records. Passport is a record of your own travels, not legal or tax advice: check what counts as a day with the authority you are reporting to.

What comes with Pro?

Backdating, automatic stamping with a welcome on arrival, every citizenship, residence and visa, exports, imports, unlimited upcoming trips, every cover, and the Pro app icons and themes: gold, black, platinum, red, orange, holographic, silver and bronze. Stamping where you are today, the whole book, the map, the tracker, iCloud and the Classic and Rainbow icons are free.

How do I cancel or restore Pro?

Pro renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least a day before it renews in the Settings app on your iPhone: tap your name, then Subscriptions. On a new iPhone, open Passport and go to Settings › Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you subscribed with. Apple handles all payments, so for a refund visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I remove my stamps?

Double-tap a stamp to remove it, or remove every stamp in Settings › Remove All Stamps, which removes them from your other iPhones through iCloud too. Deleting the app deletes everything it kept on that iPhone.
